My summer trip
🌄 Summer Escapade to Longding, Arunachal Pradesh 🌿
This summer, I had the chance to visit a hidden gem tucked away in the northeastern hills of India — Longding, a beautiful district in Arunachal Pradesh. Unlike the usual tourist spots, Longding offered me a perfect escape into untouched nature, warm culture, and peaceful landscapes.
🌱 First Impressions
As soon as I entered Longding, I was mesmerized by its lush green forests, rolling hills, and fresh air. The landscape seemed like a painting brought to life. The region is still relatively unexplored, which made it even more special — like stepping into a world far away from the noise and chaos of daily life.
🛣 The Journey
The road trip to Longding itself was an adventure! Winding mountain roads, misty valleys, and small local villages along the way gave me glimpses of simple and serene mountain life. I passed through places with breathtaking views and spotted plenty of greenery and bamboo groves — so calming to the soul.
🏡 People & Culture
The people of Longding were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Most of them belong to the Wancho tribe, known for their rich traditions, wooden houses, and colorful attire. I even got a chance to watch a traditional dance and taste some local dishes — simple, spicy, and delicious!
🌿 Nature’s Lap
The natural beauty of Longding is hard to put into words. I visited dense forests, clean rivers, and scenic viewpoints. The quietness around me was something I hadn’t experienced in a long time — no buzzing phones or traffic horns, just the sound of birds and rustling leaves.
📸 Memories Captured
From early morning misty sunrises to warm golden sunsets, every moment in Longding felt magical. I clicked lots of photos — of landscapes, friendly locals, their traditional houses, and the vibrant greenery all around.
💭 Final Thoughts
This trip to Longding reminded me of how beautiful our country is beyond the popular destinations. It was peaceful, refreshing, and full of small surprises. If you’re someone who loves nature, culture, and adventure — I would definitely recommend planning a trip to Longding.
